The acute glaucoma is an emergency and must immediately be trated by therapy. Primarily a medicamentous augend jerk lowering takes place with following operation (alternative by the laser). The treatment of the congenital glaucomas takes place always operationally. The treatment of a secondary glaucomas is dependent on the underlying illness, effected however essentially according to the principles described above.
